One of the industry's leading software developers, Playtech has announced the launching of a highly advanced sports product, which they claim is unlike anything we've seen before.
The three-dimensional tennis game will be available via online, retail and mobile channels, and features life-like action, realistic gameplay and HD graphics. Playech has collaborated with Warner Bros Studios in the largest motion capture project ever attempted to develop Virtual Tennis. Prior to creating the game, the developers have spent over three weeks in a studio in Hertfordshire, where they installed more than 100 cameras to study positional accuracy and professional sportsmen movement.
Elliott Norris, Virtual Sports Head for Isle Of Man-based Playtech had this to say about the product:
“Our Virtual Tennis product is unlike anything the industry has ever seen and feels as if you are courtside watching a Grand Slam,” read a statement from Elliott Norris, Virtual Sports Head for Isle Of Man-based Playtech. The team has done a phenomenal job and we’re delighted and incredibly proud of the results. The graphics are mind-blowing and we are the only company able to offer full sports simulations meaning that betting and gameplay are as realistic as possible.”
