StarfishMedia Goes Live with Zimpler

A new payment system has been launched by StarFishMedia, developed by mobile transaction specialist, Zimpler. The Betsson Angler Gaming subsidiary plans to use this newly live technology to change the way users complete mobile deposits, making them simpler, and easily managed from a single account.

The new technology in use by StarfishMedia brand, PremierLIVEcasino, will also deliver a summary of spending habits, and users can further set deposit limits, and have the added option to self-exclude. PremierLIVEcasino is licensed in Curacao, and operates under subsidiary of Betsson, Angler Gaming.

Currently, the Zimpler product is offered at nearly 200 gaming sites. The latest to launch the solution is Vera&John, which did so this month, and other brands that have gone live with the products include, Swedish Smart Payments, Nordic, LeoVegas, and Casumo.

Co-founder and chief executive of Zimpler, Kristofer Ekman Sinclair, stated, “PrimeLiveCasino is unique, one of the first iGaming companies with a targeted LIVE casino focus. We are proud to be a part of PremierLiveCasinos journey.

Sinclair continued, “Adding Zimpler will not only attract the Scandinavian customers, but also make the mobile deposits easier for the entire StarfishMedia Group."

Marketing manager for PremierLIVEcasino, Sami Kurvinen, commented, "PrimeLiveCasino is taking a pioneer position globally for LIVE casino. In order to create the best offering for the Scandinavian customers we are now adding Zimpler."

"In terms of simplifying mobile payments and meeting the customers demand in the area, this is a must have," Kurvinen added.

This looks interesting, of course the mobile payment mechanism could be hugely streamlined especially with people using their phones to make payments in stores every day now and the prolifertion of mobile payment services like Apple Pay, Android Pay. Its the takeup of these services by retailers that will determine which will be around for the long term though and Zimpler will have to move fast to remain relevant.

Not that I am from Scandinavia, but it is not the mobile deposits that the average player cares about. It is more the time it takes to receive a cash out. There is always 400 instantaneous ways to take my deposit but try getting paid just as quickly and the ways to get a fast cashout dry up faster than water in a desert.
