Kentucky case - good news

Supreme Court accepts new ownership initiative from iMEGA

Last week's disappointing news that the Kentucky Supreme Court had denied trade association iMEGA's legal standing until it could produce an owner of one of the 141 seized domains has been followed by positive news.

The court will consider the real issues in the case after iMEGA's submission last week of Yatahay Holdings-True as domain owners and members of iMEGA (see previous InfoPowa report).

"Reading the Supreme Court's decision, it was clear they wanted this suit back as soon as possible, and we're happy we were able to comply," said iMEGA chairman Joe Brennan Jr. "We're confident the Court will make a ruling soon, and that we'll finally wrap this up."
