Trademark infringement suit aims at three Panama-based companies

According to Associated Press, Majestic Star Casino LLC, a privately owned casino from Las Vegas, has filed suit against three companies operating from Panama.

The Las Vegas Federal court will have to deal with the three companies based on the claims made by Fitzgeralds casinos, owners of the Majestic Star Casino, which state that the companies are operating a website under the same name, and one difference - they are using a .net address instead of the casino's .com address.

The layers of Majestic Star say that the similarity in the name actually drives users to an online gambling site.
