Nevada Gambling Commission issues the warning
Another warning for land casinos about an iPhone card counting blackjack app was issued this week by the Nevada Gambling Commission.
In addition to the previous warning issued in Feb. 2009, and prompted by the experiences of a Californian Indian land casino, the Commission decided to reissue the warning for casinos under their authority in relation to the dangers of card counters using the app as a card counting aid.
Despite the fact that card counting is not illegal in Nevada, it is a felony to use devices to help count cards, reported Associated Press.
