Manx's eGaming market aim of the new role taken by Wilkinson
It was reported this week that a new position has been created in the Isle of Man telecommunications and Internet provider Manx Telecom in light of the company’s plans to expand its eBusiness market. For that purpose, Tony Wilkinson has been appointed as its first UK-based eBusiness Development Sales Manager.
In his welcome to the new staff member, Manx Director of Sales and Marketing Marcus Warren said: “Tony’s recruitment is part of our strategy to strengthen our marketing, sales, and new business development teams as we gear up to expand our business, both in the UK and globally. Part of that expansion will be a heightened focus on eGaming.”
Wilkinson’s new duties will include focusing on the eGaming sector, and his appointment comes at the same time when the company announced an investment of GBP 20 million in building a second Data Centre on the Isle of Man. This move is expected to be crucial for Manx Telecom ambition to enlarge its share in the eGaming market.
