On the other side of the online gambling sector, from the beginning of 2011, players had a lot to look forward to:

“Happy Fun Bakery” is a new game coming from the UK online gambling group Gala Coral, whose Gala Bingo.com launched an entertaining new slot dubbed “Joker Jester”. There was also International Game Technology (IGT) which presented its new releases – surfing themed game “Wipeout”, “Triple Bonus Spin Roulette”, as well as “Star Trek”. In addition, IGT’s remote gaming subsidiary Wagerworks launched “Cats” and “100,000 Pyramid”.

Intercasino.com got a special slot as a gift for its 15th anniversary - “Sweet 15”; Jackpot Joy launched “Jack's Chest”, a new onsite bingo game; WMS Gaming’s new Alderney-licensed online casino Jackpotparty.com presented a number of games that were primarily land-based but have been adapted for online play.

As it promised, Microgaming sticks to releasing four games a month. Therefore, 2011 saw it launching a new Live Dealer game, “Multi-Player Roulette”, “Hot Ink”, a tattoo parlour-themed online slot machine, “Retro Reels – Diamond Glitz”, a mystery themed slot “Private Eye”, “Monkey King”, bingo side-game releases, “Spring Break” “Avalon”, “Multi-Wheel Roulette” “Ruby of the Nile”, "Sneak-a-peak - Planet Exotica", “Queen of Hearts”, then an oriental theme slot titled “Asian Beauty”, a nature themed slot “Eagles' Wings”, “Retro Reel: Extreme Heat”, and “Party Island”.

The period from the beginning of the year was also active for specialist scratch and instant win games provider, NeoGames, which launched “Ocean Pearl” a triple scratch card game, “The 60’s” an instant bingo scratchcard game and “Legend of Terra” – a 5 reel, 20-payline 3D slot game.

As for Net Entertainment, it announced the release of “Boom Brothers”, “300 Shields” and “Trolls”, whereas NYX Interactive introduced two new casino games into the NYX Empowerment Casino range: “The Great Atlantic Quest” and “Cherries Diner”.

Parlay Entertainment Inc and Wonder Interactive together launched an integrated social internet bingo application in February. As for mobile gambling technology provider Probability, its casino brand LadyLucks has announced the launch of two new mobile games: “Head2Head Poker” and “DiscoDollars”.

Realtime Gaming (RTG) introduced some spectacular slots - “Count Spectacular”, “Cream of the Crop”, “It's a Mystery” and “Basketbull“ - themed on the famous basketball organization.

As for an online gaming company famous for its slots, Rival Gaming launched a great number of games recently, including “Reel Party Platinum”, “Japan-O-Rama”, 3D slots “Crazy Jewellery”, “Dr. Magoo’s Adventure”, “Shangri-La”, “The McMurphy’s”, “Dog Casher”, a twist on Pixar’s animated movie Ratatouille, “French Cuisine”, video slots “Opera Night” and “A Day at the Derby”, as well as its latest 3D additions - “Beretta’s Vendetta” and “Fortune of the Pharaohs”.

There are also novelties at Skill On Net gaming software provider – a 3D online slot “Vampires Feast”. In the meantime, WinADay.com debuted a variation on the “Jacks or Better” card game, as well as “Pyramid Plunder” and “Busted!”

A lot of activity was noted at online games developer, Vegas Technology, which released “Arctic Queen”, “Wataa” which features a Martial Arts-theme, and “Mile High” which works on a comical air travel-theme. In addition to Vegas Tech, Wink Bingo announced the opening of a new bingo room - Gimme5!, which features a new format of bingo game known as “Swedish Bingo”.

All these and more are the games released so far in 2011. Judging by such an amount of activity, this promises to be a year full of surprises.
