Canadians no longer accepted
According to recent player reports, UK-based Sky Betting and Gaming's online casino Sky Vegas is pulling out of Canada, perhaps due to the fact that the major Canadian provinces are acting as operators as well as regulators. Namely, the players were advised in the email that the casino will no longer take Canadian customers:
"Following a Sky Betting & Gaming group review of operations, we will no longer be offering our products and services to customers based in Canada.
"Therefore, your account will be closed on 1st June 2011. If you have an outstanding balance this will need to be used or withdrawn before this date."
