Going from land to online slots
This week’s news include reports of a deal closed between a UK-based game development studio Betlow Ltd and a major Australian slot design specialists Lightning Box Games which will develop and distribute of its popular land-based slot titles for online use in Europe and the UK, including titles such as Three Pandas, Super Happy Fortune Cat, Double Bungah, Stretch Limo, Heart of Africa, Dragon’s Spell, Beach Comber, Radar Riches and Queen of Legends.
It was assessed by Betlow managing director, Justin Chamberlain that the company is excited “at the prospect of adding such high-profile titles to the Betlow portfolio of online games” and is already discussing supply deals with a number of major operators.
"The popularity of the land-based versions of these titles coupled with a real appetite among the online community for fresh, innovative slot games will help make this new relationship a great success," he said, adding: "In our opinion Lightning Box are second to none in terms of their creative and mathematical capability – their excellent relationships with the world’s largest slots providers backs that opinion up.”
According to Lightning Box Games Managing director Peter Causely, “Betlow is an incredibly flexible, knowledgeable and quick-moving company in the online market place and a good fit to take advantage of all the new and swiftly developing trends from the land-based market and repackaging them for online play.“
