Four mobile game development companies bought
It seems like social gaming giant Zynga Inc. is seriously into the mobile gaming industry, judging by its recent acquisition of four mobile game development companies.
The four are Gamedoctors, the German-based developer of the hit mobile game "ZombieSmash", the San Francisco-based games companies Page44 Studios, which developed the iOS platform game "World of Goo", the mobile technology firm HipLogic, and the New York-based games development company Astro Ape Studios, the creators of a free play iOS social game, "Mosterz Revenge".
So far, it is not known how high was the consideration paid for the four companies, but it has been specified that the number of acquisitions since Zynga’s beginnings now amount to twenty.
