Hearing scheduled for February 2012
The United States Senate Committee on Indian Affairs has scheduled for Thursday, February 9, 2012, an oversight hearing on the U.S. Department of Justice's (DOJ) opinion on internet gaming that will reportedly include discussions on "What's at Stake for Tribes".
The DOJ's opinion on online gambling expressed late last year that The Wire Act applies only to online sports betting, now represents a turn so the following hearing is probably opening the gates for industry stake holders interested in other forms of online gambling.
