New pressure for operators in the German State
New reports of potential review of the validity of online gambling licenses in the Northern-most German State of Schleswig-Holstein, emerged again this week, triggered by the change in Government which is now formed by a coalition comprising the SPD, FDP and CDU.
It is being widely speculated that the new online gambling licensing regime in the Lander may be threatened by the change in Government.
Furthermore, it was observed that if it happens that the regime gets abrogated, licensees may turn to the Government for some form of compensation.
