Director General of Swedish Gaming Board to establish a future work programme
Håkan Hallstedt, the Swedish Gaming Board's Director General, is the new Chairman of the Gaming Regulators European Forum (GREF) for the next two-year term.
“I will now establish a future work programme together with the board to streamline our work. It is important to have a clear agenda as Europe's gambling regulations differ so much and interests do not always coincide,” Hallstedt commented on his election.
Hallstedt takes over the position from Signe Birne, a member of Latvia’s Lotteries and Gambling Supervisory Inspection regulator.
GREF gathers representatives from gaming regulatory authorities and organisations all over Europe whose common goal is to exchange ideas and information on issues of mutual interest.
