Two new deals have been closed this week by Irish gambling giant Paddy Power – one with the Swedish online gambling software and game developer Net Entertainment and the other one with IGT.
Based on its deal, NetEnt will supply the Irish bookie with a range of high quality browser and mobile gaming content from the end of 2012.
According to NetEnt CEO Per Eriksson,"Paddy Power is a major player in this industry, and I am positive that Net Entertainment’s games will be well received by Paddy Power’s player base. The contract with Paddy Power will further strengthen Net Entertainment’s position in UK and Ireland.”
On behalf of Paddy Power, its head of eGaming, Isaac Ward, said: “Net Entertainment, is a company that has a great record in e-gaming development. The addition of the Net Entertainment content to Paddy Power Games is set to further enhance our product offering, and we look forward to generating positive results for both parties.”
The deal with International Game Technology (IGT) refers to its mobile offering, which will be supplied to Paddy Power in addition to the companies’ existing partnership.
This agreement will make Paddy Power IGT’s first OpenBet customer, gaining access to a wide range of the most successful IGT mobile products via the IGT rgs (remote gaming server) Casino.
The games in the initial launch include Da Vinci Diamonds, Cleopatra, Cats, Wolf Run, Kitty Glitter and Elvis A Little More Action, which will be available both on Paddy Power site and via the mobile site of Paddy Power’s recently launched new brand ‘Roller’.
Commenting on this new development, Ward stated: “Paddy Power offers customers a world class entertainment experience delivering the best online and mobile games. We have built a strong partnership with IGT over many years and it is great to be able to extend this further with the introduction of their new mobile games platform.”
