The opening of the Italian online gambling market to slot action on December 3 opened the door to a great flow of revenues, according to analysts, some of which believe that the sector is already worth around Euro 268 million a year.
Noting that online slots typically account for around 70 percent of an online casino’s revenue, analysts predict now that operators licensed by the Amministrazione autonoma dei monopoli di Stato (AAMS), are now able to offer slots games to Italian customers, and may see a fourfold increase in online casino operator revenues.
