In the latest development in its consulting phase on introducing a regulatory and licensing dispensation for online gambling, the Dutch government has scheduled a meeting in The Hague on January 28.
That will be an opportunity for interested parties to tell their opinion on critical issues such as taxation levels, licensing restrictions and operational aspects including ID and age verification issues as well as responsible gambling precautions.
Meanwhile, the Netherlands Gaming Authority is actively agitating through a written communication program asking prospective licence holders to answer a series of relevant questions.
