The CEO of Betclic Everest Group (BEG), Ignacio Martos left his position, the company stated on Tuesday, adding that former CFO of the group, Isabelle Andres, will fill the position.
Therefore, Andres has succeeded three of her predecessors in the position since 2009 - Isabelle Parize, Nicolas Beraud and Martos.
The reasons for Martos’ departure seem to lie in his conflict with major shareholders Stéphane Courbit and the Société des Bains de Mer over the direction of the company and their interference in the running of the company.
