Following acquisition moves by Cantor Fitzgerald Europe, GAIN Capital Holdings, Inc. and City Index Limited, the share price of the battling London Capital Group Holdings plc rose by 18 percent.
However, LCG warned that the acquisition negotiations are only at a preliminary stage, adding that the potential acquirers have until 5pm London time on March 12 to make a firm offer under stock exchange rules or abandon negotiations.
