News came this week that the French gambling authority ARJEL is scrutinizing some 40 player accounts belonging to French casino and poker operator Partouche Gaming France due to allegations that Partouche employees and/or associates were playing on Partouche's web site and benefiting from unjustified rewards, thus breaking a law that prohibits such practice.
It appears that one of the inspected accounts to Yohan Zenou (22) who has familial connections to Katy Zenou, a Partouche Gaming France board member. Apparently, Zenou has earned Euro 36 000 in tournament credits on a solitary Euro 175 account deposit, of which Euro 27 500 has reportedly been transferred to Zenou's bank account.
Another rumor has it that one of the inspected accounts is that of Patrick Partouche himself.
As for the ARJEL security audit on the Partouche Group, the regulator apparently found several deficiencies related to "recording and traceability data", of which a three month period, dated December 20, 2012, was reportedly given to the company to correct the problematic issues.
