A multi-annual strategic deal has been closed by Unity Technologies, provider of multi-platform engine and development tools with SHFL (formerly known as Shufflemaster), which will allow the latter to expand its gaming entertainment content through value-add products from the Unity engine.
The Unity middleware provides its users with the ability to create interactive gambling content, and is one of the most widely adopted middleware solutions for development in the industry.
In a comment on the deal, SHFL spokesman said: “Technology is at the heart of all we do. We believe that product innovation, superior quality and service makes gaming more fun for players and more profitable for operators. Our new work with the Unity engine will help us deliver this value even further.”
