Update: Macau Court Acquits SHFL from Patent Infringement Claim

A report came on July 22 that the Macau First Instance Court has acquitted gaming supplier SHFL Entertainment (Asia) Limited of a claim on patent infringement made by Jay Chun.

In the claim, Chun alleged a violation of a patent related to terminal betting on live baccarat.

According to Ken Jolly, SHFL Macau's Executive Vice President of Asia, "We are very pleased that the Court has found no patent infringement by SHFL Macau. We have consistently maintained that our Rapid Baccarat solution does not infringe Mr. Chun's patent.”
