Google Play and Apple are working together by requiring developers to revise application content within 30 days or they will be booted from Google Play.
Those apps that advertise “prizes of cash or other value,” will require revision and an advisory from Google states that it will not permit “content or services that facilitate online gambling, including but not limited to, online casinos, sports betting and lotteries, or games of skill” if the prize is a cash reward.
