38-year-old Matt Sunderland has joined Nektan, Gibraltar online and mobile gambling company, as COO with 17 years of industry experience behind him.
Sunderland took on the role of chief operations officer for Probability plc after acting as commercial director when he first joined the company in 2009. He’s also earned a reputation for his marketing talents of Probability's Ladylucks and Moobile brands.
Even before his work with Probability, Sunderland was Group Marketing Director of Gaming, at St. Minver. He also filled the role of Commercial Marketing Director at Carlton Screen Advertising and Head of Commercial Marketing for CNN International.
Probability described Sunderland’s reason for leaving as "...to pursue opportunities outside of the UK". The company he was to begin working with was not disclosed at the time.
Nektan is known for its social and online gambling ventures as well as the creation of hybrid sklots which combine skill and chance games.
