Thanksgiving Day the New Jersey's Division of Gaming Enforcement revealed 5,000 new accounts with 32,277 new accounts during the soft launch of online gambling which began on November 21st.
These numbers may not specifically reflect individual gamblers as one player may have opened accounts at various online casinos.
Monday kicked off the official launch of New Jersey online gambling with Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa; the Tropicana Casino and Resort; Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino; the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort; Bally's Atlantic City and Caesars Atlantic City among the first Atlantic City casinos to be approved for licensing.
