A losing bidder for the Atlantic Club Casino intends to pursue a re-hearing and review of its bid because it was one millions dollars more than the bid that was accepted by Caesars Entertainment and Tropicana Entertainment.
Sobe Holdings LLC has plans to submit its request on Monday and take it all the way to the court of appeals in need be.
The Atlantic City Chief Judge Gloria Burns saw less risk with Caesars and Tropicana which is why she decided to accept the lower bid.
Needless to say, Sobe does not share the judge’s opinion and want to pursue the bid in an attempt to rebrand and re-launch the casino.
Sobe owns and operates Deauville Beach Resort in Miami Beach, Florida.
