Reports are flooding in that a hacker accessed Las Vegas Sands websites owned Sheldon Adelson.
Hackers posted comments regarding Adelson's statements on Iran, weapons of mass destruction and nuclear options in the Middle East on the websites on Tuesday. Hackers also added scrolling of employee personal data, a map showing flames over Sin City Sands Casino locations and photos of Adelson with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Various news publications claim that the following was posted: “Damn A, don’t let your tongue cut your throat. Encouraging the use of weapons of mass destruction, under any conditions, is a crime."
IT staff took the sites offline to restore them.
