US Land Based Casino to Launch Mobile Gaming

Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, the owner of the Philadelphia-based Parx Casino and Racing company, plans to obtain permission to launch mobile gambling technology on the Parx property as seen in New Jersey and Nevada land based casinos.

Parx has selected the WMS Betcloud system which has been successful on gambling cruise ships.

John Dixon, the chief technical officer at Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, hopes to attract a younger demographic with this new initiative.

    They say that older people. the baby boom generation are nearing retirement or are retired and has less disposable cash. Do to today's A younger high tech jobs, many young people earn a higher salary than their counterparts a generation ago. Also, a younger demographic can mean that they will be playing for many years to come which helps guarantee future revenues.

    Younger demographic might mean underage kids can still their parents credit card and use it to play on their phone.On second thought they can do it on the trusty laptop. I wonder hat the casino does when that does happen?
