888 Holdings plc has appointed Ron McMillan as an independent non-executive director and as chairman of the audit committee.
Amos Pickel held the title prior and will remain as an independent non-executive director and member of the audit committee.
888 Holdings chairman, Richard Kilsby, said:
"With his extensive experience of boards and audit committees of major listed companies, Ron brings a wealth of experience to 888. This will be of considerable benefit as the company continues to grow and pursue its strategic objectives. He will be a valuable addition to the Board and the audit committee and I am delighted that he has agreed to join us.
I would also like to personally thank Amos Pickel for his dedication and commitment in fulfilling the role of chairman of the audit committee on a transitional basis until now. Amos will continue as a non-executive director on our Board as well as fulfilling the roles of chairman of our nominations committee and remuneration committee."
