The Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association (GBGA) opposed and challenged the UK Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act 2014 and as a result, the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has decided to postpone the implementation of new regulations until November 1, 2014.
The UKGC posted the following statement on its website: "Due to a High Court challenge to the Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act 2014, DCMS will be taking the necessary steps to postpone this legislation coming into force until 1 November 2014. This will allow a judgment to be made without undue time pressure."

Ok now it is all coming together. The article that I read about moving to Gibraltar from the UK. Now the UK see's that companies are not going to deal with there "new imposed laws" and it will eventually cause hurt to the countries economics.....they stop and want to take a second look at what will happen. This is funny...

Now the UK see's that companies are not going to deal with there "new imposed laws" and it will eventually cause hurt to the countries economics.....they stop and want to take a second look at what will happen. This is funny when all these laws actually hurt the law makers when they think they are controlling others.

Of course it is postponed, there is so many casinos applied to this license, and of course it should took some time to review all applications and apply needed. So we actually just need to wait some more time, luckily there is only about a month left.

This news has given us here in the UK a small respite - however brief - from our impending cutoff from, by most estimates, as much as 3/4 of the entire online gambling market. I always thought we were considered a primary market for online casinos, I guess thats a typically human trait though, overestimating ones own importance!
