It was announced on Thursday that Skrill will acquire Ukash, a UK pre-paid cash voucher provider, pending regulatory approval.
A spokesperson for Skrill said that Ukash will support the operations of subsidiary Paysafecard, which Skrill acquired in 2013 for Euro 140 million
David Sear, CEO at Skrill said, “The acquisition of Ukash will significantly extend our reach in the high-growth pre-payment market. We are proud to support both consumers and online businesses with the world’s largest online cash replacement payment method and look forward to serving a combined base of millions of consumers around the world.”
Paysafecard chief executive Udo Müller said the influence of the two companies looks promising and he looks forward to an increased customer base.

This acquisition is a big deal. Now lets go over the players on this team. Moneybookers bought Skrill then rebranded as Skrill. Skrill acquired Paysafecard. Now it is buying Ukash. Holy crap, I guess it is the largest online cash replacement payment method in the world. Well. they bought just about everybody. Shhhhhh.........
Shhhhhh...... On another note, the BBB (Better Business Bureau) says; Skrill has a very poor reputation with fraud behavior and over 50 complaints to justify the rating. On the other hand, eCommerce Bytes, (don't ya love that name) online seller news blog, gave Skrill the 2nd highest ranking out of all payment services. So who do you believe. Then again, are there any online cash replacement payment methods left that they haven't acquired. Again, Shhhhhh......LOL......... Do to US legislation, it is no surprise that the US is not on the Skrill list of supported countries. The US player has only one choice left to use at online casinos until Skrill decides to go ahead and bite the head of this online cash replacement payment method beast. LOL....... Maybe some casino will feel sorry for us US players and ask Skrill to please, just leave Pastenpay. Do you think that they will have to have it...............
