Bulgarian Lawmakers Set the Online Gambling Tax at 15%

In its final reading on Friday, Bulgarian lawmakers passed amendments to the country’s Gambling Act setting the online gambling tax at 15 percent on the difference between wagers and pay-outs, including tax provisions for lottery organizers, bingo, keno and similar genres. If the lottery is held in casinos or on other gambling premises, the organizers will have to pay 15 percent turnover. On the other hand, online operators are required to pay 20 percent tax on the difference between revenue and winnings paid out. This includes keno and bingo operators.

    15% is not so bad, no? I heard that in USA poker players who won WSOP pay much? Anyway, in my country for example tax for gambling wins in i withdrawn on card is 12%. And they do not care if i made deposit and lost then, i am forced to pay 12% from all incoming transcations...
