Bulgarian Blacklist to Reach 313 Websites

Bulgarian Blacklist to Reach 313 Websites The list of online casinos without the Bulgarian license continues to grow as the Bulgarian State Commission on Gambling keeps adding more domains. The blacklist is now totaling at 313 websites, latest additions being the major Gibraltar-based online gambling companies 32Red and Stan James.

The lack of interest among online operators was induced by prohibitive costs attached to licensing, which included a 15 percent tax on turnover until last December. Things are about to change as Bulgarian political establishment appeared to notice this, changing the tax to a far more palatable one of 20 percent on gross profits. The change should see more operators making application this year.
  • Blacklist growing and growing...poor bulgarians, this is really sucks for them. Anyway, after all i think such things will happen in most countries in future, this market is big, there is a lot of money, and government just can't sit and see how much money goes without appear in their pocket.
  • Licensing is said to be done to keep out unsuitable parties that may infiltrate the gaming industry causing question to its integrity. They probably see the 15 percent tax on turnover to be unsuitable causing question of the integrity of the Bulgarian State Commission on Gambling. When you are trying to keep out the robbers and the cheaters, leading off looking like you are a robber and cheater doesn't give you much credibility.
