Malaysian Government Officials to Learn Anti-Online Gambling Techniques in China

Malaysian Government Officials to Learn Anti-Online Gambling Techniques in China The Malaysian Home Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, discussed plans to send government officials for anti-online gambling techniques training in China.

He revealed that training is to take place before the end of the year also adding:

“China has committed to invite a bigger number of our officials to be trained in various fields, especially anti-terrorism, online gambling, prostitution, border securities and drug abuse.

“Our law enforcement officers will be sent in batches to the republic as we want to see how they have significantly reduced such activities in China.”
  • I have to laugh a little when I see that China is teaching these classes on anti-online gambling techniques and a couple of the others classes mentioned. China is still in the beginning stages of economic development. They may even have less of some of these problems than the rest of the world. I would just think that their governments focus would be on different developments needed in China. Maybe these two will have some sort of trade off where China can get something in return that will be of some economic benefit to them. I would be interested to hear about what is entailed in their anti-online gambling strategy.
