Microgaming has introduced the industry's first real money casino app now available in the Windows Phone Store.
Users may download the app to any smartphone using Windows Phone 8.0 or Windows Phone 8.1. The company created the app using native code and native user interface components making more than 35 games accessible including slots, table games and video poker.
John Quinn, head of casino at Microgaming, said, “We follow mobile developments very closely and recent statistics show that the Windows Phone market share is increasing significantly across many European countries. With this in mind, we believe that Microsoft’s mobile platform is an important one to invest in."
Jackpot City is the first online casino to provide the new Microgaming Windows app; however additional licensees will add it in 2015.
