According to Dutch media, Mieke Michiels', Belgian-licensed Napoleon Gaming online and land based gambling group, is to be sold to a private equity Dutch company, Waterland.
Napoleon was able to get a Belgian online gambling license via its land based brand, Casino Knokke.
Michiels' online presence is casino and sportsbetting operations with sponsorship deals with Belgian football club AA Ghent and pro cycling team, Sunweb.
As a result of the sale, Waterland, will be able to operate 23 gambling establishments throughout Belgium.
The transaction amount is undisclosed; however the sale comes at a time when the Dutch government is preparing for legalized online gambling regulations.

Do you think that Napoleon Gaming online and land based gambling group has a reason for selling now? Now they had it all going on, but they decided to sell. I know that online regulations means changes and money. I just wonder how bad it will be when the Dutch government starts gambling regulations.
