The Lotteries and Gaming Authority Rebrands to Malta Gaming Authority (MGA)

In response to a challenging industry and to better demonstrate its vision, Executive Chairman of the Malta Gaming Authority, Joseph Cuschieri, announced that The Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) has rebranded to Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). The rebranding also includes a new logo.

“The new name and logo will serve as a better representation of the Authority’s heritage, past successes, vision and values within the national agenda and in line with our strategic objectives”, said Cuschieri.

The new logo was unveiled along with an overview of the new brand during an event at the Westin Dragonara Resort.

A new website,, also accompanies the new look. The website uses features responsive web design offering the same look and feel whether accessing it from a desktop computer, laptop, smart mobile phone or tablet.

No stone has been left unturned in terms of refreshing the LGA. You can now find new MGA Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages, which will be consistently updated.

The LGA has been the regulatory body which governs all forms of gambling in Malta including Amusement Machines, Broadcasting Media Games, Casinos, Commercial Bingo Halls, Gaming Devices, the National Lottery, Non-Profit Games and Remote Gaming.

Lol, and what? Instead of do something against stupid and extremely rogue casinos licensed in Malta like slotobank casino, for example, they just change their name and making new logo. Great job guys from Malta, you showing us that you not only taking money but doing something there? :)

ZZzzzzz, these guys would do far better to improve their policies and services offered to the millions of players who engage with operators licensed by this joke of an authority. It's a well known fact amongst on-line players that this supposed regulator is entirely useless when it comes to resolving player disputes in a fair and impartial manner, and no changing an "L" to an "M" is going to have any significance whatsoever.
