SealsWithClubs, a Bitcoin casino, had been unavailable for more than a week "to deal with technical problems", which raised suspicions for players. Their concerns were founded as the company announced that it is closing up shop but players will still be able to withdraw their balances.
The player notification mentioned Bryan Micon, believed to be one of the owners, and his plans to relocate to Antigua to potentially launch a new site using updated SealsWithClubs software.
A statement from the casino said:
"Effective immediately, SealsWithClubs will cease providing Bitcoin poker and will be shutting down all operations except to allow player funds to be withdrawn for a limited period of time. SealsWithClubs is, and has been, completely solvent up to this point in operations."
“On approximately February 11th, 2015, several events occurred related to operational security that we consider to indicate SealsWithClubs now operates in a perpetual state of jeopardy.
"We will not divulge details publically, but they may come to light if any team member chooses to come forward of their own volition at a later date.
"All player funds and data remain intact and the issue was not software related. We do not believe any of our Bitcoin wallets used in operations to be compromised or lost. However, this event has made the majority vote of the ownership and team agree that shutting down operations is the best move for safety and security purposes.
"SealsWithClubs Chairman, Bryan Micon, would like to carry forward the business with his own team (currently settling in Antigua) but the majority ownership cannot guarantee the future security, solvency, and integrity of that operation because there will be no administrative oversight carried over from SealsWithClubs.”
The notification continues on and on. The most important thing for SealsWithClubs players to know as that may withdraw from their accounts.

OK, am I the only one wondering what kind of name SealsWithClubs is for an online casino site?! I know what it refers to but not its relevance to gambling.... Clearly the fact they are allowing players to withdraw their balances should put to rest any suggestion that this announcement is intended to defraud anybody out of their balance - it sounds as if some vulnerability with the existing software platform has been discovered and somehow, it is not economical to address this...

To be offline for more than a week, really looks suspicious for SealsWithClubs casino and the explanation "to deal with technical problems" don't sound very serious, but it is still be OK if they let their costumers to withdraw their current balances. You never know with these new casinos but hope the players wont loose...

This type of situation is not good for anyone. The explanation is vague and the site is so new to be ending this way unless......... That is the way I see it, I have to fill in the blanks myself. I't will leave a bad taste in the mouths of the players that were just beginning to be regulars. For the rest of us who recently...

I't will leave a bad taste in the mouths of the players that were just beginning to be regulars. For the rest of us who recently signed up and played a few times, but haven't quite made a decision if this casino was going to be one of their regulars, like the comments above, it is a joke, really funny. Even though online gaming has been around the block several times, this type of situation does not reflect well on anyone.

This is funny like seculla said. If you want to generate money you need to invest something in that busuiness and in this case that is stabile servers, software and peple which one knows how to run this kind of business. If you open online casino you can't do that until you are sure that your site is functionally with 100%....

This is very big joke. If you are not capable to "run" the casino, and if you didn't manage to create a stable website and to get very stable server, than you shouldn't even try to. I mean, if something is "rising up" very quickly at this moment in cyber world that is BitCoin. So they should know that they will have a big...

I mean, if something is "rising up" very quickly at this moment in cyber world that is BitCoin. So they should know that they will have a big amount of users playing at the same time. But maybe the question is if they had "technical problems" or there is something else...
