The media has caught on to the possibility that Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment may be partnering with a land based casino in Pennsylvania but the identity of the US partner is unknown.
Legislation for licensed and regulated online gambling in Pennsylvania is in the works a partnership would place Bwin.Party in a good position.
The two casinos that are likely not possibilities include Caesars, which runs its own interactive division overseen by Mitch Garber, and Las Vegas Sands, whose owner is Sheldon Adelson and we all know how he feels about online gambling.
The remaining possibility is Parx Casino, which currently has online gambling and social partnerships with GameAccount, Williams Interactive and Sugarhouse.

I hear ya catapultaudio. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I don't think US politicians can swim, ha, ha, ha............... But anyway, wouldn't that be a hoot to see Las Vegas Sands hook up with Bwin. Sheldon Adelson would never ever be able to live that one down. But I say, never say never. You know the old saying, "If you can't beat-em join-um." Never mind all of that, I can't wait to see what really happens. The day is coming and this online gambling is going to bust wide open one day soon in the USA.

I don't feel qualified to take a guess at who the partner could be, but as usual I can't help but laugh at the fact the United States continues to attempt to prohibit an activity that is just seen as normal and mainstream here in Europe. I really hope that US style politics never makes it to these shores.
