Paris Hilton to Sign an Advertising Deal with BGO Entertainment

The controversial socialite and heiress Paris Hilton will soon join actor Verne Troyer, better known as Mini Me and social media star Dan Bilzerian as BGO Entertainment’s new face. BGO has hired Hilton to star in a new UK-facing TV campaign, which will go live in May. The advert will be filmed at The W hotel in Los Angeles this April, with Troyer starring as ‘The Boss’ of the casino.

This is a follow up to a successful TV campaign launched last November which stared famous Bilzerian. BGO Entertainment was founded in 2012 with a clear global business strategy of bring all elements of the entertainment and gaming business together.

Richard Skelhorn, co-founder of BGO said this week, “I hope our next TV campaign is just the start of what will be a very successful relationship for both parties. Our recent success after the introduction of Verne and Dan has been incredible. The script we have been working on with Paris is very cool and I hope to increase our exposure and build upon our female player base in particular."

We're living in the 21st century when advertising and marketing has huge part in our lives, especially television ads. So I think it's smart that BGO is trying to improve their advertising, making them more hip and interesting. Whether the person they chose - Paris Hilton- is the best for this, I'm not sure, but it will definitely make people talk about it and will bring them attention and possibly new players. Wish it works the best for them.

oh boy this is a major waste of money. the only good thing Paris Hilton ever did is that blowjob video, nothing more nothing less. just because she happened to inherit luxurious hotels and fortune don't make her a celebrity. and i've had the displeasure to see her talentless acting in a movie and here i ended with her. BGO 'The Boss' i always find him odd, not funny at all and even feel sad for the poor creature. but if this works to masses then why not. i think their marketing management should be more player focused, loyalty being strongest point. Guts should be their guide in business, more for players - no TV marketing crap.

No matter if we like her or not Paris Hilton is a celebrity and famous enough person all across the world. So i guess this make's her appropriate for this job. Is there more worthy persons who can be the face of BGO Entertainment? For sure, but that is their choice and they will pay for it.

Sadly memashecerlema has a point: even though she's long past the height of her fame - or should that be infamy? - Paris Hilton is still a highly recognizable name that will draw more attention to the BGO brand. Athough (as pinkxxx suggests) this kind of advertising campaign is probably a step down for her, the casino will benefit from the increased awareness her notoriety brings.

But that's exactly the point of using "controversial" Paris Hilton for their campaign , they got you guys talking about the TV add long before it's even out! There's no such thing as bad publicity and love-to-hate personas are the best head turners.

Her ship is sinking....now doing TV ads for online gambling ....not quite a booming acting career , I guess she'll take whatever she can get these days . Im never impressed with trying to push your ads with girls, women , or sexapeal . That kinda tells me its nothing special and they need help to get business . If Paris Hilton jumped off a cliff would people do it too? So who cares if she plays at or endorses BGO pfft . Next they are all going to try to get celebrities to push their casino . Nothing more than a marketing ploy ....I rather see certificates , honest feedback from winners , something substantial from the casino , not a chick as a smoke screen to get your money.

I think Paris HIlton is quite saavy and a uniquely kind yet modern person. I think this shows that she has a sense of fun...if it's true. It is a bit hard to believe (check if the date was April 1st...; ) I know she is a successful businessperson in some middle-east retail that she has, and I think she deflected all that sordid stuff quite well, though it did take a while. I am a closet BGO fan - a couple of the exclusive games are exceptional. If only she could leverage some of that clout and get Bally and Lgt licensed to game online in Canada....sigh...

I think Paris Hilton is the logical next step cause they've been employing controversial characters before her (I mean Mini Me and a Gorilla?!) , they're obviously going for that shock-effect and I'm certain an intelligent commercial is not the goal here.

Packing Paris Hilton for that? It seems like an odd choice to me. But thinking differently which celebrity should they choose? I can't pick anyone who could attract gamblers to their site either. So I guess either they pick Paris Hilton or Beyonce it wll not make a big difference?!

I guess it may improve their barely of age to gamble, female market, the ones in their very early twenties. The rest of us view Paris Hilton as a spoiled rich kid who drinks too much, does drugs and is very self absorbed. With all the wonderful young and talented women out there, they could have done a much better job picking a spokesperson. I have never seen any of their advertisements and they say that they have been successful so maybe it will work with Paris Hilton. Sounds like it is a done deal so just gonna go with the flow. If you see it and you don't like it, you can always change the channel. That's what I do..............
