Back Major Playtech Shareholder Purchases Trading Business Platform?

Teddy Sagi, a major shareholder of Playtech, has reportedly entered the currency trading business with the purchase of platform AvaTrade.

The sale has not been confirmed but reports say that negotiations coming to a close and Sagi had offered $100 million for the company, which profited $20 million last year.

Sagi is the current owner of Safecap Investments Limited, controlling shareholder of SafeCharge International Group plc and Crossrider Ltd.

Forbes has estimated Sagi's net worth at approximately $3.5 billion.
