The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and the Netherlands Gaming Authority have agreed to sign a Letter of Intent to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding when online gambling becomes legal under the Gaming and Betting Act in The Netherlands.
Spokesmen on both sides say that agreement will formalize the relationship and information sharing between the gambling authorities.
The agreement includes consumer protection and preservation of public order at the core and the goal of improved regulatory standards by data sharing and forming a strong working relationship.

I guess that there are some companies who operate in Netherlands but are licensed on the Isle of Man territory so probably that why this agreement is needed. I'm agree that there's have to be clear rules which have to be followed by all the companies but it's not an easy thing to do when the online gambling is such a huge...

It is very important for every country to exclude illegal gambling.A lot of money state loses because of it.Taxes on gambling are high almost everywhere,so government should fight against this. Also,if everything is legal,then customers have much bigger rights and they are protected by the state.

The regulation of gambling, with clear and defined rules, is good for everyone, gamblers can play and bet safely, the government collects more taxes and fees, and groups and betting sites, can invest in the country safely, and also removes malicious gambling sites, who may want to work in that country

I don't have any problems with countries cooperating, sharing information to keep illegal gambling and other illegal actions from polluting online gambling businesses or creating an unsafe environment for online players like myself.
