After discovering a flaw in the software of an online Video Slot, the British Columbia Lottery Corporation confirmed that it will pay out Cdn$1.1 million to 9 online gamblers effected by the glitch.
The Province newspaper reported that the error occurred in the progressive jackpot Slot Game, Wizard of Odds according to spokesperson Susan Dolinski. Players hit the jackpot and were not paid.
The game was removed from PlayNow.com on June 10th and an investigation revealed the 9 players that had won and were not paid a total of $1.1 million in jackpots.
Dolinski revealed that other losing players that played Wizard of Odds between July 16, 2014, and June 11, 2015 will also be reimbursed.
