GVC May Submit a Solo Acquisition Offer for Bwin.Party

Despite Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment’s preference for 888 Holding’s acquisition bid, it seems the GVC is considering a re-offer, which will not include Amaya Gaming this time.

GVC and Amaya submitted a joint offer but if GVC intends to pursue a solo offer it will require some fund raising, which the company is reportedly looking into.

Online casino and poker firm 888 confirmed its GBP 898 million deal with Bwin.Party despite it coming in lower than the GBP 908 million-pound bid from GVC and its Canadian partner Amaya Inc.

I was thinking that 888 Holding's is all ready the new owner of the Bwin but obviously there is still a chance for a GVC offer. Will be interesting which offer will be accepted in the end because I think that this deal is important for the future of those companies and maybe even for the all online gambling market.

Bwin has been on the market for several year and my experience hasn't been the best. I played there more than 5 years and gave up because of the new management. Is there hope? At least I can give it a try.... but the whole situation makes me wondering.
