As far as I know in this part of the world and Malaysia in particularly the problems with the illegal online gambling are huge one so I'm not so surprised by that news. It's a good sign that the Police trying to do everything they could with these raids but for sure it's not enough and the illegal gambling still has very deep roots in the country.

This kind of raid makes online gambling safer everyday. Not just because of this raid, but because of the ones before it and because of the ones that will be coming next. Maybe it will make the next ones think twice about setting up an illegal site to swindle everyone because they could be next. Good work you guys.

Sounds like they are cracking down hard. I think they have bigger issues and problems though. I remember when you read about these raids it was small land establishments , now its raiding and taking computers and the online operators are being raided . Times have changed and the online laws have and are being held tight and regulated.

Well, I was thinking about travel to malaysia, but after reading Yautjazz comment I will nedd to re-think this option. Malaysia is owning hundreds of islands and regulate all the things there is almost impossible, in fact there are common states and governments is not so powerfull to control drug, gambling markets.. The fun fact that the tourism is very popular there, because of fantastic climate and location. So, Malaysia's government need to get more force to stop such actions...

Good observation there Yautjazz, lol, I can't disagree with you. But, if you leave your drugs at home, and finish your gambling on the plane ride there, I hear there are beautiful tourist destinations in Malaysia.
