Atlantic City's Resorts Casino Hotel has been granted a full online gambling license from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement under the Resorts Digital title.
The company has been delivering remote gambling services since March via resortscasino.com and via mohegansuncasino.com since July under the Mohegan Sun license as it is part owner of Resorts.
Mark Giannantonio, Resorts’ president and CEO, said Resorts is “the first casino company in the country to open a digital gaming lounge” on its property. “To me, that’s the greatest marketing we can have,” he said.
“Our online volume of business is made up of about 50 percent of bricks-and-mortar (Resorts) customers - and about 58 percent of them were inactive before resortscasino.com went online”, Giannantonio said.
Resorts has agreements with NYX Gaming Group including a deal pending NJ licensing approval for PokerStars with Amaya Gaming, who expects to receive approval during Qtr3 2015.

This is an innovative idea I think and probably has a great potential to be a successful one. In the new online reality the land based casinos have to be more flexible and innovative to be able to survive. This could be a huge step for the future on the whole casino industry and it's definitely interesting how it's going...

I agree with idark. Yes, as far as I can see this is new with land based casinos going online, but who has a more solid foundation to start online gambling. Doesn't it make perfect sense. If I am correct about this and I think I am. Land based casinos will all start, at least contemplating, going online. It is the next...

It is the next big expansion, it's already started and the US casinos are the ones that are making the big move to go online. Are they greedier than land casinos in other countries, does it matter. I can already picture the future and it is filled with land based online casinos
