Net Entertainment has been granted a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, which will allow it to launch its digital gaming products via the Borgata and bwin.party brands.
The software giant previously applied for a Casino Service Industry Enterprise License in New Jersey and the waiver allows NetEnt Americas LLC to launch its gaming content while the application is under review.
The company secured additional agreements with operators including Golden Nugget and Caesars Interactive Entertainment and awaits transactional waivers to launch with these operators.
Björn Krantz, managing director of NetEnt Americas LLC, said, “The approval of the transactional waiver for Borgata and bwin.party in New Jersey marks yet another milestone in our efforts to successfully go to market and build a long-term presence in North America. We are working in close collaboration with our partners and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to secure that necessary administration is taken to successfully go live as soon as possible.”

No doubt that NetEnt is one of the leading game developers in this business and it's nice to hear that now they will be presented on the New Jersey market. There is so much restrictions on the gambling market in US for many of the other game developers but I'm glad now that the players in New Jersey will have an access...

Im in the uk, but i do care for people in the usa that cant play at certain casinos and also cant play certain slots from certain slot providers too. But hopefully in the not so distant future, USA will be back playing at all major brands and casinos and providers. :) fingers crossed

I think it is one of the most important tasks for netent currently - to appear on US market. This market is regulated, this is true, and also only few states allow to gamble online, but still it is good money. I think it is one of the most important tasks for netent currently - to appear on US market. This market is regulated, this is true, and also only few states allow to gamble online, but still it is good money. But if one day US gambling will be allowed online, netent for sure should be there. Just because it is top software provider, and i think US players can't wait to try their games. Will see how this will continue.

Does it mean we are on the road to legalizing online gaming for USA players? That would be amazing. I cannot even imagine the freedom of depositing and cashing out like international countries get. Many of the online casinos allow for immediate withdraws from Skrill or other online wallets. It is a step in that direction...

I like what I'm seeing and hearing in this story. I also love NetEnt games. When they said "another milestone in our efforts to successfully go to market and build a long-term presence in North America," well I say yes, yes, yes......... Long term are key words for me. I would like to know what is being talked about behind the scenes of this new venture. Every gambler in the US wants them to be successful and like me who wants to play a part in it. But alas, we will have to wait and see.......
