Most of the UK leading gambling companies are in that list so this a pretty good news to all the Irish players. Hopefully there will be some more casinos added later on but even if they stick with only those 27 it's still will be a great choice for the players. Ireland is great market so I'm sure they will be more companies...

Wow, that is a pretty good list of gambling sites that are already licensed in Ireland. All of those remote betting operators are gonna bring Ireland lots of gold coins that leprechauns love to see at the end of their rainbow. I bet, (no pun intended) the Irish government wouldn't mind catching a few illegal operators to increase their pot of gold with fines up to Euro 300,000. And players or punters, lets not forget them. They get to help their economy and have fun doin it. I am just a little green eyed monster (you know what I mean, jealous....) over here in the US just wishing it could be us............. Good luck Ireland.............

These days many countries are regulating their gambling markets with law and licences... They want to get a control on tax payments and fees, but how they can control illegal providers ??? A casino registered on islands or in Curacao doesn't worry about Irish low :)
