New Bitcoin Casino: Oshi!

Search engine optimization (SEO) company 90Digital has launched a new bitcoin online casino called Oshi! in Alpha format.

Oshi! runs on the SoftSwiss platform with licensing by Curacao. Founder Nick Garner will manage the new brand with past experience at Betfair and Unibet.

“Having been in the iGaming sector for 10 years, I can see the huge appeal for gambling using Bitcoins,” Garner said.

“We believe there is an opportunity to build a great gambling experience around fun, constant innovation, along with the freedom and privacy that Bitcoin gives users.”

“The long-term goal for Oshi! will be product first, marketing second. The vast majority of revenues will be channelled back into accelerated development of new gaming experiences to make Oshi! one of the most innovation-led casinos on the Internet,” Garner added.

I don't know how marketing can be second and I don't know about you, but that really makes no sense to me. How can you increase anything pertaining to your product if it's existence is unknown. Oshi, a peculiar name at best, but the meaning, well, see what you think. *Oshi is a Japanese term "to push or support" and isn't that what marketing does, push or support the product. Sounds like Oshi would make a better name for a drug than a casino. Good luck Ochi. *http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=oshimen just sayin.....

Are bitcoin casino's a bit subversive in a way? Does the lack of required customer information and the very private financial transactions made in bitcoin at a bitcoin casino circumvent tax collectinng authorities and possibly aid and abet money launderers? Or are there only some bitcoin casino's who fit this type of hacker anarchist culture, while others are government licensed and regulated?
