It’s been an active month for NetEnt with several announcements released this week.
The company had previously entered into a content distribution deal with New Jersey’s Resorts Casino with the integration process now complete and its online games live following the receipt of a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
NetEnt titles are available via online casinos, Resorts Casino in NJ and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut as a result of its partnership with Resorts Casino.
"We are delighted to be live with a selection of our best-in-breed desktop and mobile games over Resorts Casino’s and Mohegan Sun’s online casino network. I am confident that our portfolio offerings will support their agenda to build sustainable long term growth in New Jersey,” said Björn Krantz, Managing
Director of NetEnt Americas LLC.
We also saw NetEnt enter into a licensing agreement with Spanish gaming operator CODERE and as of December 18th its games have launched at CODERE’s online casino.
Enrico Bradamante, MD of NetEnt Malta Ltd and Chief of European Market Operations, said, “I am very pleased that we are now live with CODERE. They have a strong brand name in a market with interesting growth potential and I look forward to this partnership. I am confident that our award-winning games will be much appreciated by their online players in Spain.”
Yet another deal with GameAccount Network Plc (GAN) came to fruition this week as NetEnt’s portfolio has been integrated into GAN’s Simulated Gaming platform for the American market. Simulated Gaming does not involve real money play and the initial series of games have launched at New York’s Empire City Casino, California’s San Manuel Digital and Pennsylvania’s Parx Casino.
“I am very pleased to be live with our first set of games over GAN’s Simulated Gaming platform. Our launch means that several land-based casinos in the US will now be able to familiarize their player community with NetEnts online casino games ahead of possible state regulations permitting real money Internet gaming”, commented Björn Krantz, Managing Director of NetEnt Americas LLC.
“NetEnt represents best-in-class online casino games, which are expected to strongly appeal to GAN’s widening audience of US casino patrons actively engaged in Simulated Gaming”, added Dermot Smurfit, Chief Executive Officer of GameAccount Network Plc.
