Scientific Games acquired WMS in 2013 and the last several online game releases have been somewhat underwhelming. While the company continues to crank out some of the coolest land based Slots such as Willy Wonka Pure Imagination, Elton John and Caddyshack, its online launches have online gamblers wondering what all the fuss is about. For example, Williams Interactive has taken an old Slot, Fairy’s Fortune, and just relaunched it as Enchanted Fairy.
If you’ve ever played at WMS’s first online casino, the former Jackpot Party now known as Slots Magic, Fairy’s Fortune was one of the games available having initially launched in 2013. With the rebranding and expansion of WMS online Slots beyond the UK market, many of the titles were lost. You no longer see games like Gusher or Temptation Queen. Could Enchanted Fairy be the first step in bringing those old favorites back to the online gambling community?
In terms of Enchanted Fairy, the only difference seems to be the name. The design, symbols and features haven’t changed nor has the number of paylines, which is still 20. Players are reminded of the low variance game play with the frequent triggering of low paying bonus features.
The Enchanted Fairy Bonus is awarded when a Moon symbol appears on reels 1, 3 and 5. Players will be prompted to choose from a selection of coin revealing items and keep picking until the fairy is revealed. You will then follow the fairy into the sky to select one of five constellations for a final reward. The Bonus can pay anywhere from 2x to 100x your bet. Additional bonuses include the Butterfly Feature and the Magic Mushroom Feature.
Fairy’s Fortune still exists in land based casinos across the United States but the American voice guiding you along is replaced with a Brit in the online version.
So if you’re not utterly confused, give Enchanted Fairy a few spins and you be the judge.
